At Graceful Steps to Freedom – Christian Life Coaching, LLC, I value your privacy and  treat your personal information with respect, Integrity and care. This ministry exists to support emotional, spiritual, and personal growth, and I am and I am committed to protecting the information you share with me. 

This privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and what rights you have regarding your data.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. Who we share your data with

I do not share your personal information with anyone unless you specifically request that I do so or unless I am legally required to share it.

If you ask me to coordinate care with another professional, such as your psychiatrist or another provider, I will only share the information you have authorized.

I do not sell, trade, or use your information for advertising. Your information is kept private and used only for the purpose of providing coaching and ministry support.

Should you choose to make a donation or support Graceful Steps to Freedom – Christian Life Coaching, LLC , you will enter your own information to either Stripe or PayPal. I will not have access to any of your personal financial information.  

If in the future, you need a password for any special memberships that we make available and you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For coaching and ministry sessions held on Zoom, I am required by law to retain records for five years. This includes session notes and any documents you provide as part of your care. 

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

I do not keep any information longer tha necessary for legal, ethical, or administrative purposes.

What rights you have over your data

 You may request a copy of the personal information I have about you at any time. This includes session records contact form submissions, or any information you have provided as part of coaching or ministry support. 

You may request corrections to your information if anything is inaccurate or incomplete.

If you have left comments on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. 

You may request deletion of your information unless I am legally required to keep certain records, such as coaching or ministry documentation that must be retained for five years.

You are always welcome to ask what information I have stored and why. I will respond to all requests with honesty, clarity and respect.

Where your data is sent

This website uses basic spam-detection tools to keep the site secure. When you submit a form, your IP address and browser information may be checked automatically to prevent spam or malicious activity.

Your information is not sent anywhere else. It is not shared with advertisers, analytics companies, or third-party services beyond what is necessary for basic website security.

Any information you provide through coaching or ministry sessions is kept private and is not transmitted outside of secure storage.

I take the security of your information seriously and use reasonable measures to protect it from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

Any coaching or ministry records are stored in secure access-controlled locations. No one, other than myself has access to these records. 

This website uses basic security tools to help protect against spam, malicious activity, and unauthorized login attempts.

While no online system can guarantee perfect security, I take practical steps to safeguard your information and keep it as secure as possible.
